Victoria McAuliffe joined us this morning to talk about her senior project, “Bracelets for Nana.” It’s her project to raise money and awareness for the Alzheimer’s Association.
Victoria is making handmade beaded bracelets and selling them for $5 a piece. Each bracelet has an elephant bead along with the color purple. Elephants are known for their memories and purple is the official color for the Alzheimer’s Association. All proceeds will go to the Alzheimer’s Association in honor of Victoria’s Nana, who has been living with Alzheimer’s Disease since 2010.
If you’re interested in buying a bracelet or donating to “Bracelets for Nana” you can direct message Victoria here.
