MEGHAN TRAINOR TO HEADLINE 2019 LA PRIDE FESTIVAL: Meghan Trainor has been announced as one of the headliners for this year’s L.A. Pride Festival. The event will be taking place June 8-9. The second headliner for the festival will be British electronic pop trio Years & Years. This year’s L.A. Pride theme is #JustUnite, promoting the progress the LGBTQ+ community has made while working together and serving as a reminder that there is still more work to be done.

MAX TO RELEASE NEW SINGLE ‘LOVE ME LESS’: MAX will release a new single, “Love Me Less,” on April 5th. “I’m really ecstatic to finally be releasing ‘Love Me Less’ into the world. It’s always had a very raw and important message to me,” he says in a statement. Max says a sophomore album and a world tour is coming soon. His smash single “Lights Down Low” is certified double platinum for sales of two million units.

ADAM LEVINE’S ‘SONGLAND’ GETS PREMIERE DATE: Songland, a music competition series executive-produced by Adam Levine, will premiere on NBC May 28th, right after the return of America’s Got Talent. The show gives one songwriter per episode the chance to have their song recorded by a big-name guest artist. Each songwriting hopeful will be mentored by three top music producers. Among those involved in the show are OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder, Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer Ester Dean, and Grammy-winning songwriter and producer Shane McAnally. No word on whether Adam himself will appear on the show.

KATY PERRY AND ZEDD TO PERFORM DURING NCAA MARCH MADNESS CONCERT SERIES: Katy Perry and Zedd are taking their “365” collaboration to basketball fans. The two artists will be performing as part of the NCAA March Madness Music Series, which takes place during Final Four Weekend. Their performance, which will headline the Capital One JamFest, will be held April 7th at The Armory in Minneapolis. The entire March Madness Music Series runs from April 5-7 at The Armory. The other nights include the AT&T Block Party on April 5th, and Coca-Cola Music on April 6th. So far, the performers for those two nights have yet to be announced.
