ARIANA GRANDE SUED OVER POSTING HER OWN PAPARAZZI PICS TO INSTAGRAM: Ariana Grande is being sued for posting her own paparazzi photos. In a lawsuit filed in New York Monday, photographer Robert Barbera alleges the singer violated copyright law by posting photos he took of Ariana to Instagram. Back in August, Ariana posted two of the photos – in which she’s exiting a building carrying a “Sweetener” bag – the day she released her album Sweetener. “Happy sweetener day,” she captioned the post, which had received nearly four million likes. In the suit, Barbera says he wants to be compensated with either the profits Ariana earned from the photos or $25,000 for each pic – whichever amount is greater.

MADONNA DEFENDS DECISION TO PERFORM AT EUROVISION IN ISRAEL: Madonna, who is due to perform at Eurovision, has responded to protests from pro-Palestinian groups who want companies and performers to boycott Israel. In a statement, the singer said: “I’ll never stop playing music to suit someone’s political agenda nor will I stop speaking out against violations of human rights wherever in the world they may be. My heart breaks every time I hear about the innocent lives that are lost in this region and the violence that is so often perpetuated to suit the political goals of people who benefit from this ancient conflict. I hope and pray that we will soon break free from this terrible cycle of destruction and create a new path towards peace.” Madonna will be performing two songs on Saturday during the Eurovision final in Tel Aviv, Israel. Over 189 million people tuned into the 2018 broadcast.
