Halsey’s movie debut is here. A 90-second sneak peek dropped this week, showing her in a 1970s-style shag haircut and all-black ensemble, driving an orange muscle car.
In the clip she confronted at a gas station by a woman with a gun, played by Sydney Sweeney. Halsey’s character refuses to give her what she wants and then a chase ensues.
Americana is slated to make its world premiere today (March 17) at the Paramount Theatre in Austin during the SXSW festival.
