As long as I’ve lived in Columbus at various times in my life, the Ethnic Expo is one of my favorite times of the year, like another holiday got added just before Halloween. 🙂

I know that I’ll have a catalog of favorites that I’ll visit every year – the sausages from one of the Philippines booths, the meat-on-a-stick from Vietnam, baklava from the Greek tent, wonderful German almonds from this truck – and then there will invariably be one new discovery that makes me fall in love with it all over again. And that’s why I keep coming back, year after year after year: the simultaneous loves of comfort and new discovery.
