We’ve all been in one of those restaurants where you’re presented with something resembling a thimbleful of food, and you think to yourself, was this really worth the $30 I just dropped on this fiasco? But there’s something else, besides a portion size.  If your waiter came bearing your order in an ACTUAL THIMBLE, you’d probably think that someone was pulling your leg.  Imagine your burger and fries coming served on a scale, so you knew the burger actually weighed a pound…you’d probably ask yourself what the hell is WRONG with these knuckleheads? It’s being reported by The Telegraph that an Oxford professor, Charles Spence, has been doing research on what kind of music goes best with food.  The audio seasoning of Queen and Bruce Springsteen makes Indian food tastier, according to Spence.  Similarly, if you’re into sushi, some Sinatra will help wash it down. If you’re into Chinese food, you might want to consider a soundtrack full of Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran, according to Spence. Wine also benefits.  Although the late Keith Moon might question it, Spence recommends a good Cabernet Sauvignon be accompanied by “Won’t Get Fooled Again” by the Who, and the music of Blondie pairs up with a Chardonnay.  A little something to bear in mind, next time we see you at a wine fair.
